Introduction

London Welsh amateur sections are the first in rugby history to be given CASC status. Being a rec-ognised Community Amateur Sports Club ensures that it does not suffer the same rates and taxes as businesses. This ensures more money will stay in sport and will go towards ensuring the amateur play-ing membership of London Welsh RFC continue their enjoyment of the facilities at Old Deer Park.

The CASC currently has 500 members, with the majority being made up of the mini and youth sec-tions, with three senior mens teams and one womens team making up the rest of the membership. It cov-ers all age groups, male and female at all standards. Membership is open to anyone who wants to play rugby in a London Welsh shirt.

Sponsors will have access to the CASC members database. The 500 members make up a broad demo-graphic from ages 5 to 50, male and female. There is also a wide range of professions from lawyers and accountants, teachers and students to builders and librarians. Your company could benefit from raising brand awareness, generate consumer preference and foster brand loyalty.

The CASC has close ties with London Welsh Ltd and their supporters club. Any CASC sponsors will get exposure to both sections including advertising in the first team match day programs for all home games, which have an average attendance of 2000, and advertising in the quarterly supporters club newsletter, which is circulated to all London Welsh Ltd and CASC members, approximately 1000 in total. The newly launched CASC website, which will display sponsors banners, is accessed by all CASC sections and their supporters.

Our packages aim to create maximum media expo-sure and public coverage to our sponsors. They are flexible and can be tailor made to suit your individ-ual needs.

Platinum Sponsorshipr Package

Platinum Sponsor status delivers the following benefits:

  • A pair of international tickets at Twickenham with full hospitality at London Welsh which includes champagne reception, free bar, pre match lunch, coach to and from the match, match programme and super.
  • A pair of international tickets at the Millen-nium Stadium, Cardiff.
  • 2 Patron membership at London Welsh which includes: exclusive use of the John Dawes room for the members plus two guests for league and friendly games, ground entrance, car parking, grandstand seats, match programme, cash bar, light lunch and afternoon tea.
  • One perimeter board for every home match of the season.
  • P.A. announcements at each home game.
  • Inclusion of a full page advertisement in the London Welsh programme (art work to be supplied by the sponsor).
  • Inclusion of an advertisement in the London Welsh Supports club magazine (art work to be supplied by the sponsor).
  • Banner advert on the CASC website, includ-ing a hyperlink.
  • 8 free tickets to each CASC events.
  • Access to database for direct mail purposes on 3 occasions throughout the season

Gold Sponsorship Package

Gold Sponsor status delivers the following bene-fits:

  • A pair of international tickets at Twickenham
  • A pair of international tickets at the Millen-nium Stadium, Cardiff
  • Patron membership at London Welsh which includes: exclusive use of the John Dawes room for the member plus one guest for league and friendly games, ground entrance, car parking, grandstand seats, match pro-gramme, cash bar, light lunch and afternoon tea.
  • Inclusion of a half page advertisement in the London Welsh programme (art work to be supplied by the sponsor)
  • Inclusion of an advertisement in the London Welsh Supports club magazine (art work to be supplied by the sponsor)
  • Permanent ‘button’ on the CASC website, including hyperlink.
  • 6 free tickets to each CASC event.
  • Access to database for direct mail purposes on 2 occasions throughout the season.

Silver Sponsorship Package

Silver Sponsor status delivers the following benefits:

  • A pair of international tickets at Twickenham
  • Ground entrance and grandstand seats to league and cup games plus one guest
  • Inclusion of a quarter page advertisement in the London Welsh programme (art work to be supplied by the sponsor)
  • Inclusion of an advertisement in the London Welsh Supports club magazine (art work to be supplied by the sponsor)
  • A permanent button on the CASC website
  • 4 free tickets to each CASC event.
  • Access to database for direct mail purposes on 1 occasion throughout the season.

Terms and Conditions

Sponsors need to be supportive of LW CASC and its mission. LW CASC retains the right to reject any sponsor that it deems inappropriate or cancel any sponsor-ship at any time for any reason.

Application for sponsorship can only be made by completion of the official application form

After written acceptance by LW CASC, the sponsor must provide the full pay-ment of sponsorship funds, logo image (in the format required by LW CASC,) and other details required (such as correct use of the sponsor's name, trademarks etc) to LW CASC, within 30 days of receipt of acceptance.

There will not be any refunds once the monies have been received.

The term of the sponsorship shall be for 12 calendar months.

Sponsorship pledges cannot be processed without payment. Funds must be payable in GBP by either cheque of bank transfer. All cheques should be made payable to London Welsh CASC and sent to:
